HOME GROUPS
We have weekly Home Groups based in King's Lynn on Wednesday & Thursday Evenings. These are times to Worship together, Maybe explore what the Bible says about life issues, Pray together and share or journey, also a place to allow God to do His stuff cos the Holy Spirit is for everyone as it says in the book of Acts :) everyone gets to play. Home Groups are a safe place to learn to minister in the Holy Spirit for guidance, healing, refreshing, releasing and encouraging. That may all sound a bit heavy but the best way to find out what it's like at one of our home groups is to visit

Who are we and what's it all about?

Hello, we are Warren and Helen Mathers the Pastors of Lynn Vineyard Church here in King's Lynn.
We believe that Jesus gave the best model for our lives and that God's power is real in today's world through the Holy Spirit. We have experienced God's love and grace in our lives and because of this have a passion to share the good news of Jesus. We have been planting the Lynn Vineyard coming up to two years and have been blessed to meet loads of new people who are hungry to see more of God here in King's Lynn.

WHAT IS OUR VISION? 'How we see the church'
We want to be a church that does what it says on the packet.

  • To share about the Kingdom of God through relevant teaching, worship, friendships and fun.

  • To be a church that brings hope, unity, acceptance and love to all.

  • To be an excited church that expects Jesus to heal and bring freedom every day of the week.

Why not visit one of our 'CELEBRATIONS....'

What are our 'Celebrations' ?
Most churches have meetings called services.

We have Celebrations instead as these are when all the Home Groups and visiters come together to worship and celebrate God for who he is, Jesus for what he has done and the Holy Spirit for what he is doing.

We have refreshments before and after the celebration as we believe that relatonships are important and need time to grow, this is also a great time to encourage each other.

After a welcome we have a time of praise and worship which to us in the Vineyard is very important. John Wimber the founder of Vineyard churches and some of his very tired burnt-out friends, found that when you are too tired to do anything and feeling discocuraged because of life, if you sing praise and worship God meets us, the Holy Spirit comes and refreshes us, we connect with God as a group and as individuals. We are called to worship.

Next is a time of relevant teaching from the bible. This should not only challenge us and encourage us but help us in our daily journey through life.

We then have a time of prayer ministry where we invite the Holy Spirit to come, we will pray for anyone who would like prayer. We we are a church which believes that God Heals today.

Where and When we hear you shout.....

DO EVERY THING WITH PRAYER

Prayer going on within Lynn Vineyard goes a bit like this.......
We pray @ home groups for each other and sometimes other issues.
We pray for people who ring/text/email with news of others (or themselves),with illnessess, accidents & emergencies, quick prayers via the PRAYER CHAIN

PRAYER BREAKFASTS are being arranged so please keep an eye on the notice sheets for details

Some people like to interceed for other Vineyard churches in the East Anglia & Kent area via a monthly prayer sheet. If you are a part of Lynn Vin and would like to receive a prayer sheet please just let us know.

Prayer and fasting days for the area are the first Friday's of the month, why not miss a meal or snack time and add extra prayer on that day, it's amazing what a little extra prayer and praise can make to others and ourselves.

We don't believe in forcing people to attend everything we do, but we do know that we should all live a life where our prayers and praying together is very important.
Lets keep praying
